Reservation for PwBD

  • 4% Horizontal Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per the RPWD Act, 2016.
  • Eligible Disabilities:
    • Visual Impairment (VI): Blindness (total absence of sight or visual acuity <3/60) or Low Vision (visual acuity 6/18 to 3/60).
    • Hearing Impaired (HI): Hard of Hearing (60–70 dB hearing loss in speech frequencies).
    • Locomotor Disability (LD): Includes One Arm (OA), Both Arms (BA), One Leg (OL), Both Legs (BL), One Arm & One Leg (OAL), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Leprosy Cured (LC), Dwarfism (Dw), Acid Attack Victims (AAV), Spine Deformity (SD), Spine Injury (SI).
    • Mental Illness (MI) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (Mild) (ASD-M).
    • Multiple Disabilities (MD): Combination of above disabilities.
  • Functional Requirements: Sitting, Walking, Manipulation with Fingers, Reading & Writing, Seeing, Communication.

Educational Qualification (as on September 30, 2025) – SBI PO Notification 2025

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • Final-year students can apply provisionally but must provide proof of graduation by September 30, 2025.
  • Candidates with qualifications like Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, or Cost Accountant are also eligible.
  • Note: The date of passing is the date on the mark sheet/provisional certificate or the result publication date on the university’s website.

  • Final Selection: Marks from Main Exam (normalized to 75) and Phase-III (normalized to 25) are combined for a final merit list out of 100.

Scribe and Compensatory Time- SBI PO Notification 2025
  • Eligibility: PwBD candidates with ≥40% disability or those with <40% disability but difficulty in writing (with a medical certificate).
  • Rules:
    • Candidates must arrange their own scribe at their cost.
    • Scribe’s qualification must be one step below the candidate’s.
    • Compensatory time: 20 minutes per hour of the exam.

Pre-Examination Training (PET)- SBI PO 2025

Salary/Emoluments of SBI PO 2025

  • Starting Basic Pay: ₹48,480 (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of ₹48,480–85,920.
  • Approximate CTC: ₹20.43 Lacs (in Mumbai).
  • Allowances: DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease Rental Facility, etc.
  • Bond: ₹2 Lacs for a minimum service of 3 years.

  • Legal Jurisdiction: Disputes to be resolved in Mumbai courts only.
  • Travel Reimbursement: AC-III railway fare for outstation interview candidates (shortest route or actual expenses, whichever is lower).
